It’s your turn


I have always admired Elijah the prophet. The miricles he performed were fantastic. However, he went to a widow and her son and informed the widow that she would make him a sandwich using up the last of the flour and oil. Could you go up to a homeless person and demand that they give you their last bit of food? If you were asked would you give up your last bit of food? It’s your turn what would you do?

    JK the thought of asking for the last bit of someone else’s food is such difficult idea for me(of course that never really stops me from hijacking Sams baby ruth bars:))…which makes me think…Why, in the context of christianity, is the idea of taking vs. giving soo hard?
