T minus countdown

The space shuttle Atlantis is already on the launch pad and with countdown already started and lift off scheduled for Thursday, I have been busy. Just over 1 day and 5 hours left on the countdown clock. Monday we successfully completed our test run and are now ready for the mission ahead. Can’t wait!!! This mission will continue to work on the International Space Station.

Yeah, that simulation lift off is as close as I will get to leaving terafirma. I don’t know how real the simulation is but I enjoyed it just the same. Thanks NASA. I had dreams of being an astronaut when I was a small boy many years ago. Allow me to encourage everyone to dream and follow your dreams.
